A beautiful 1920s cut glass and silver plated swing handled ice bucket by Mappin & Webb, England. This smart piece of antique barware has a removable silver plated pierced plate to protect the lower reservoir, allowing the ice to remain ‘dry’ and the melted water to drip to the base. Marked below the handle ‘Mappin & Webb’s Princes Plate” with the date letter Y to denote 1925.
