An excellent quality original Art Deco English silver plated and glass cocktail shaker embellished with a colourful cockerel, by James Dixon Circa 1920. James Dixon was one of the great English silversmiths of the early 20th Century, renowned for creating good quality barware. His hall mark is always to be found in the lid of the cocktail shaker (see images).
