An exceedingly smart Art Deco English silver plated champagne ice Bucket with original removable ice melt tray, by the great English silver makers Walker and Hall, Sheffield, dated 1957. This excellent quality twin handled ice bucket is in excellent antique condition with no wear to the silver plating. A splendid addition to the home bar set up.
Walker & Hall was one of the excellent English silversmiths of the 19th Century, established in Sheffield in 1845. They enjoyed an enviable reputation in the hey-day of English silversmithing but eventually, in 1963, they were incorporated into Mappin & Webb continuing today as the brand Mappin & Webb.
