A chic set of six milk glass pedestal dessert bowls attributed to Casa Pupo, London, Circa 1970s decorated with a geometric hobnail pattern and star cut base. These useful glasses are a good large size, so perfect for wine or water.
Casa Pupo was a successful design shop in the UK during the 1960s and 1970s. The company was set up by Geoffrey Dobson with his business partner Jose Casasus in 1960 with their first shop in Pimlico Road, London. They sold ceramics, bedding, lamp bases and rugs imported from Spain and Portugal. Most Casa Pupo objects were white and their highly recognisable designs are very collectable.
