An iconic design: a set of six large hand blown glass tumblers with circular rattan handles, by Carl Aubock, Austria Circa 1950s. Modernist in design, this beautiful set is distinctive in the design principles of this Bauhaus design studio.
Condition Report: In overall good condition, the rattan is still complete on all the glasses. The glassware is all handblown and shows a normal variation in colour and thickness to the glass. One glass has a chip to the rim (see image) which has been softened so it is not sharp. This can be ground out if desired but has been left in to demonstrate original wear. All in usable condition, but NOT dishwasher safe.
