A beautiful engraved, 19th Century English (probably Stourbridge) ewer or claret jug dating c1870.
The ewer is in good condition for its age with a baluster-shaped body with an extended pouring lip and an applied swan nick glass handle. There are no chips, cracks or obvious signs of restoration. Some reassuring wear to the base which confirms age.
