A fantastic antique find: an original House of Commons silver plated ice bucket with hallmarks for James Dixon & Sons, Circa 1880s. This fabulously worn piece of antique barware is in the shope of a coopered barrel and has the House of Commons Portcullis emblem engraved to the front and full makers marks to the base, including the phrase House of Commons Refreshment Department. This piece of serveware would have been used in the House of Commons when William Gladstone was Prime Minister.
