A splendid and rare set of twelve 19th Century knives and forks, each with polished banded agate handles, the knife blades engraved with the crest of a lion rampant with a shield and star, the silver plated blades marked HA & S. The agate handles are of superb quality with beautiful natural bands, one fork has been clipped and historically repaired (shown in images). Originally this set of antique cutlery would have been used for the fruit course, but they work well for starter or cheese courses too.
