A splendid set of 10 late 19th Century/early 20th Century French Majolica plates, from Sarreguemines, France. Pretty scalloped rims with vine leave and fruiting grape vines in the centre. In good condition with little sign of wear. Each stamped with ‘3’ to the base and showing the three tripod marks from when they were in the kiln.
These pretty plates were originally used for cheese and fruit courses, but are versatile enough to be used for any course, from starter to cheese!
