Magnificent early Victorian silver plated serving tray

A substantial heavy gauge early Victorian twin handled silver plated oval drinks tray by Roberts & Slater, Circa 1850. This magnificent pieces is ornately engraved with a pierced rim and twin leaf and bead handles.

Roberts & Slater were Sheffield based electroplated and silversmiths only operating between 1845-1859, so easy to be accurate with dates. This tray would make the most splendid anchor for a homebar drinks display due to the elaborate rim.
