Early Victorian pair of gilded overlay and cut to clear decanters

An extremely unusual harlequin pair of early Victorian cobalt blue, white and clear glass triple overlay and cut to clear decanters with elaborate gilding and a stunning pair of gold vine leaf decorated original stoppers, Circa 1840. This striking pair are extra tall and particularly rare. The cobalt blue decanter has an early repair to the neck so that it is now encased in brass to protect it (a sign the original owner didnt want to lose such a beautiful piece).  Both decanters are still useable, and are most appealing when on full display.
